The rules governing the use of NaijaCar.

§ 1 General provisions

NaijaCar operates internet-accessible databases (website and mobile apps) where vehicles can be offered for sale and searched. The public section is open to both private and commercial participants. Use by minors is prohibited. NaijaCar only provides the technical conditions required to relay listings, has no influence over their content, is not the seller of the listed vehicles and does not act as a party or intermediary in the relationship between seller and buyer.

§ 2 Service description

NaijaCar’s service consists of providing an input interface for listings and making them accessible via the internet and the app. To increase reach, NaijaCar may publish and promote the service and listings through third parties (e.g. social networks).

§ 3 Registration and user account

Use requires registration. Information must be complete and accurate. Users must correctly state their status (private/commercial). Passwords must be kept confidential. Accounts may not be transferred.

§ 4 Listing requirements

Participants may only post vehicle listings in the designated categories. Listings must contain accurate vehicle information (first registration, mileage, accident damage). Prices must be stated as the final price (VAT included).

§ 5 Liability

The participant alone is responsible for the content of their listings. NaijaCar assumes no liability for accuracy or completeness. NaijaCar is liable only for intent and gross negligence. In the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations, NaijaCar is also liable for slight negligence, with liability limited to foreseeable damage.

§ 6 Prohibited practices

The use of data mining, robots or scraping technologies to read the database is strictly prohibited. Manipulating search results through keyword spam is prohibited.
